Dear Parents and Students:

Thank you so much for a successful school year!  On behalf of the faculty and staff at Snellville Middle we want to thank you for entrusting us each day with the education and development of your child.  It has been a pleasure serving you and your children this school year.

 

Our last day of school for students is Wednesday, May 25, 2016.

Please check the school’s website throughout the summer for up to date information.

Snellville Middle School Summer School

​

Letters have been sent home to parents of those students who will have an opportunity to improve their academic achievement by attending GCPS Academic Summer School. The four week program will be held four days a week. The dates are June 7-9, 13-16, 20-23, and 27-30. 

​

It is very important that you enroll your child by completing the application form that was sent home this week. Please return your form to your child's homeroom teacher  no later than Monday, May 23, 2016. 

​

Algebra I Prep Course

​

To ensure that your student is successful in Algebra I, the Math Department has developed an Algebra I Prep Course.  This online course will help strengthen the essential prerequisite content knowledge for students enrolled in Algebra I during the 2016-2017 school year.     Click here for more details.

Weekly Calendar
All Library Books Are Now Due

 

Library books were due on Wednesday, May 11th.   

Printed notices have been given to the students, but this information is also available through the Parent Portal.
Please encourage your student to locate and return all overdue items in order to clear their account.  Students who still have items on their account May 25th will not receive their report card in the mail.  The fee for a lost library book is $20.00 and may be paid in cash or a check made payable to Snellville Middle School.

End of Year Cafeteria Charges


The last day that students will be allowed to charge breakfast and/or lunch will be Friday May 13th.   Any charges on the students account will need to be paid in full by Friday May 20th.  Students with outstanding balances will have report cards held until the charges are paid.
