PEECE Workshops

 

PEECE - Parents Engaging in Early Childhood Education

For Parents of Students with Disabilities in Grades Pre-K through Sixth Gwinnett County Public Schools Parent Mentors invite you to attend.

PEECE is a four session workshop that aims to nurture and develop engaged parents, by helping them to positively support their child’s academic success, with an emphasis on increasing literacy skills.

 

Participants will learn how to:

  • Be a team member in your child’s individual education program (IEP).

  • Learn creative ways to make learning fun and engaging for your child.

  • Support your child’s early literacy development.


To receive full benefit from this workshop, participants must attend ALL sessions.

Snellville Middle Celebrates 50 Years

Snellville Middle celebrated its 50th anniversary last Sunday afternoon.    Several former principals and faculty members, as well as community members and guests from the GCPS Board of Education, were on hand to celebrate 50 years of instructional excellence.   Click here to view a short video of the occasion.
