The Principal’s Update: November

Dear Parents:

I would like to thank all of our parents who attended our Student led parent conferences last month. We had an incredibly large parent turn-out for conferences especially with our 6th grade parents. Thank you to our parents, students and Language Arts teachers for a fun filled evening of literacy at our 4th annual Literacy Night. The night was filled with music, food, literacy games and book giveaways. We look forward to seeing you  Saturday, November 9th for our opening girls and boys basketball games at South.  Your support and partnership make all the difference!

Share the Good News

Each year our parents, students and teachers have the privilege of spreading the good news about Snellville Middle School.  I am stopped frequently by parents (and grandparents) who are proud their children attend our school.  There are only a few times in the school year when we can share our thoughts and be counted.

Please take the time to take the following district surveys:

Log onto the GCPS Parent Portal and once you are logged in to check your child’s grades, the parent survey will pop-up in the window for you to participate in the survey.

OR

Stop by our Parent Center and log onto our school computers to take the brief survey.

Spirit Wear

We wear Comets spirit wear at Snellville Middle every Friday. Be sure your child is able to join in the Comet spirit and show school pride! We are proud to be Comets!

Thank you for all that you do to support Snellville Middle School.  Feel free to follow us on Twitter @SnellvilleMS and be a part of all the latest news and excitement!
