Digital Learning Day Updates

GCPS has announced that all GCPS schools will have Digital Learning Days March 23rd - 27th.

Internet Access

Xfinity WiFi hotspots across the country will be available to anyone who needs them for free – including non-Xfinity internet subscribers. For a map of Xfinity WiFi hotspots, visit www.xfinity.com/wifi. Once at a hotspot, consumers should select the “xfinitywifi” network name in the list of available hotspots, and then launch a browser.

The following offers by providers are not affiliated with GCPS.  Contact each provider for more information.

Charter is offering free broadband access to families for 60 days.    For more information call 1-844-488-8395.

Spectrum and Comcast offer low-cost options for qualifying families.   Contact Spectrum at 844-488-8395 or Comcast at 855-846-8376.

Lunch Pickup Locations

As part of Gwinnett County Public Schools' digital learning day schedule, 68 schools will provide lunch for anyone 18 years of age or younger. (A list of the 68 schools is available in the link below.) These lunches will be provided at no cost to the individual through the federal School Nutrition Program. The student or child must be present to receive the meal. A GCPS student does not have to attend the school pick-up site in order to receive a meal. Again, these schools will have student lunches available for pick up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. every day next week, March 16-20.

Additionally, school buses will deliver meals between 11 a.m. and noon at bus stops for Sycamore Elementary which is the closest location to NGMS. However, if you have specific needs, please contact your grade level counselor through email.

We would like to thank our cafeteria staff and bus drivers for making and delivering the meals each day.
